Brilliant!!! I loved every second of it! In fact I arrived a couple hours early like many, many other fans, and so it felt like I got a concert and 3/4's of another one because we could all hear them do the soundcheck very clearly outside! :) After the gates opened and everyone began trickling in and eventually filled up the seats, for some strange reason me an one guy were the only ones on our floor row near the back. So right when the lights went down, we said to heck with this and ran to about the tenth row and filled in the rest of those seats... The performance was awesome as I mentioned, even better, I liked that they did not appear to lipsync anything! The girls looked even more gorgeous then I could have imagined. Lena is to die for, and Yulia as usual dressing sexy as hell! I wonder if the keyboard malfunction was 'planned' as the fix didn't take very long. It was perhaps one of my new favorite moments from the girls, as Yulia began to lead the audience in an old childrens song from that I learned when I was very young and lived in Germany. The other report mentioned that it was in Russian, however it is not actually, in part it is made-up words but rhymes very well anyways! It's nice to know kids everywhere learn this song! They could dance and move around a little more like in their 'old' days, but the new band makes up a lot of that energy. The Show me Love 'kick' didn't go off too smoothly, but they get an 'A' for effort because I forgot that it was coming :D I hope someone else will agree with me, 'The Kiss' was awesome to see live and of course everyone went ballistic at it. But the other moment that will be forever etched in my mind was when Yulia took her top off (bra-thingie underneath) and yet again the crowd went nuts!! For me, things definately headed north at that point! Go Yulia! :D

Overall, I will never forget this performance, it was all that I'd hope it would be. Just wish they would hurry up and come here to the U.S., because I can't stand another 20hour bus ride down to Guadalajara again!

Day 2: The Autograph Session at Mr. CD in the Galleria
Firstly, I went to the wrong Mr. CD. It was downtown and looked so ghetto that I was wondering why the heck they were gonna sign at such a place!? Fortuntely one of the store clerks guided me to the right location. Well the actual signing took place on a little stage set in front of the store. A very nice shopping center indeed, and it appeared that all 5000 people that went to the concert showed up for the signing! Well maybe not, but it was crowded as hell! Foolishly, I thought I did good because I got very close to the stage in the front. Although the line for autographs started on the stairway, I just wanted to take some nice pics first. Disaster!
As soon as the girls actually came out from the store and were rushed onto the stage, the entire crowd on the floor in front of it went absolutely nuts!! I was smashed literally against everyone around me, so sorry for my crappy video :( I could sense that either people were going to start falling over on each other or worse, so I pushed my way out and decided to take a chance with the autograph line. Here's where it really sucks.
Twice, at least that I heard, Yulia tried to calm the crowd down saying "Guys, if you love us, please be careful..' she tried again a little later on, to no avail. I heard the same thing happened before on their last trip to Mexico, did those fans learn nothing!?!? So because they felt that security didn't do a good job, and fearing for themselves and the fans who didn't know better, a two hour session turned into maybe twenty minutes and that was it. I've seen a lot of video of them at session, but I never saw them being herded out like that before. I felt bad for them because I'm sure they would have stayed had the crowd behaved. (not the ones on the stairs, they were okay, just the ones in front really)
Now I'm bummed that I didn't get an autograph, but I felt worse for the people who got this 'preference' ticket if you bought a cd from the store then you would be in the first group to get an autograph. Many of those people did not even get a chance. Still, there will be chances in the future at other venues, so all is not lost! The concert was worth everything it took to get there. :D
